Submissions are now being accepted for the next issue of The Mouldy Bike. Thanks to everyone who has taken to time to read and enjoy our first issue, the response has been great! We’re now getting started on our second and we’d love to hear from you in forms prose, poetry, essay or whatever you’d like to pitch us. We’re encouraging all voices from every background to submit work that properly represents the times and experiences we live through, so please share around and get involved!
Just a few guidelines for what we’re looking for:
We encourage prose/essays to be between 1500-3000 words. Poetry can be whatever you’d like it to be, but before you send any work in we’d like you to have a read of the first issue to get a feel for what we like to release. Humour and absurdity is fantastic, but we do like it with a bit of writerly craft, if that doesn’t sound too stuffy. Again, we’d like to place emphasis on diverse voices.
Artists, designers, illustrators; we are accepting portfolios and pitches for the new cover design. Artwork will also be needed for some of the written pieces. All written submissions, piches and portfolios are to be in by October 1st and contained in a PDF or Word doc, sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
